Safe Use of Product
- For proper support, use two (2) Jacks per trailer. A single Jack will not prevent side-tipping.
- Load Capacity of Jack must be equal to gross weight of trailer.
- If driveway slopes, Load Capacity of Jack is reduced due to side-loading on Jack. Take this into account when using Jacks.
- Trailer must be securely blocked (wheel chocks or dock-lock) when Stabilizing Jacks are used.
- Place Jacks on firm flat ground.
- Jack top plate must be in snug contact with underside of trailer. No daylight.
- Aldon Jacks are designed to support semi-trailers. Do not used this product for any other purpose.
Caution
Always use two jacks per trailer.
Position jacks near front corners of trailer. Make snug contact with the smooth steel underbody on each side of king pin.
Do not install jacks on transverse floor beams of trailer behind king pin.
Make sure the trailer is properly blocked before you install or remove stabilizing jacks.
